Count ScalingThis is a simple multiplicative compression scheme which allows you to record numbers larger than 255 per Recording Interval (epoch). The Count Scaling should normally be left at 1. If you use 1-minute intervals, you won't need to use Count Scaling because your step counts will not exceed 255 per epoch. If you use intervals greater than 2 minutes, you may want to use a Count Scaling greater than 1. The higher the Count Scaling factor you choose, the less resolution you will have in your data. You will not ever "lose" steps, however, because any steps "left over" from one interval block (i.e. the remainder of the (Interval Step Count)/(Count Scaling factor)) will be carried over to the next. Whatever your Count Scaling factor, your data will automatically be properly scaled when you download it from the StepWatch.
